Location

Topdeck at Snelling Beach is located at Middle River, on the North Coast of idyllic Kangaroo Island, South Australia. You can make your way to the Island by car or by plane. Don’t let the name fool you though, Middle River is home to one of the Island’s most beautiful beaches — Snelling Beach.

BY CAR

A scenic one hour and forty-five minute drive from Adelaide will see you arrive at the Cape Jervis SeaLink Ferry Terminal. Once you arrive in Penneshaw, it’s another hour and twenty minutes or so to the house. There are unsealed roads and often wildlife too so be careful when driving, especially at dawn or dusk.

BY PLANE

Skip the drive and fly direct from Adelaide to Kingscote with Qantas. If flying, we recommend hiring a car for your stay which can be arranged through Hertz and Budget who are both based at the airport. From the airport it’s a 45 minute drive to the house.
